This cute penguin in a red hat began as scribbles on the sketch pad.
Next, the process of trying to find a character within the lines began.
I first noticed the large area that would later become cheeks, and I was off and running.
The left eye appeared, and so did the hat.
Once the sketch was completed, I tried to fit his head on different bodies, and finally decided he needed to be a penguin.
