These are the images from my first encounter with digital portrait painting.
I’ve always loved portraits, but hadn’t done one digitally until I took a Skillshare class from an awesome artist, Gabrielle DeCesaris.

Upper left is the original image (duh), upper right is posterized to help with values.
Lower left is black and white in progress, lower right is a color over the image.

It still needs work.
